These are the speeches, remarks, press conferences, study papers and statements given by Senator John F. Kennedy and Republican candidate Vice President Richard M. Nixon for the period 1 August, 1960, to 7 November, 1960, during the 1960 Presidential Campaign. Here too, when scanned, will be the Public Papers of President John F. Kennedy 1961, 1962, 1963. Given the extremely large number of speeches given by both candidates during the 1960 campaign the speeches will be added to this site on a regular basis after I scan, then check, each speech for errors/typos. Errors are created during the OCR process and checking for them takes time as the accuracy of the speeches is of prime importance.
